This project on 56th Avenue in Oakland included full replacement of 250 sq ft of asphalt shingles and 1,800 sq ft of flat torch-down roofing. The shingle section was re-roofed with GAF Timberline HDZ RS shingles over waterproof underlayment, with new vents, jacks, flashing, and trim.
The flat roof received a 3-ply modified bitumen system using CertainTeed Glasbase, smooth ply, and Flintlastic torch-down layers. We also installed new drainage components and replaced metal nosing as needed.
Additional work included new upper moldings and garage siding replacement, which involved new sheathing, waterproofing, matching wood siding, primer, and paint to match the existing exterior.
